Frequently Asked Questions
Spring Season
When will I know which team my child is on? All parents will be notified by their team’s volunteer manager approximately 2-3 weeks before the start of the season. Uniforms will be distributed by coaches before the first game.

Will there be practices in addition to the scheduled games? T-Ball and Lower Farms have an approximate 30 minute practice before each game. Although this is at the coach's discretion, we are an instructional league. Practices will be held and organized by coaches based upon field availability.

What equipment must my child bring? Although some players bring their own helmets and bats, there is no need to purchase these items. The league will supply bats and helmets. Your child will need their own glove. It is also recommended that each child have a bottle of water at every game and practice. For kickball, players only need to wear sneakers. For Upper, Minors, and Majors, a protective cup and non-metal cleats are required. Make sure all equipment is labeled with the player’s name.

What time should players arrive at the field on game day? To be respectful to the entire league, games will always start on time. Coaches will set expected arrival time and will offer instructional opportunities prior to the game. Keeping in contact with the coaching staff of your player’s team is essential.

What happens if it is raining on the day of a game? If the Board Members deem the fields unplayable or there are safety concerns, the game will be cancelled. Division directors and coaches will notify team members as soon as information is available. When possible, games will be added as the schedule permits.

Can I drop my child off and leave? Success of the league depends greatly on the support of parents, both cheering kids on and assisting coaches, especially at the younger levels. Although we prefer that a parent is present for the entirety of a game, we understand circumstances prohibit this at times.
How can I help? Reach out to the coach of your team and ask. While the coach will be busy on the field with the players, parents are encouraged to cheer on all players, keep them safe behind the fences while batting, and be ready to help out during play if the coach asks. However, ONLY approved coaches may be in the dugout at any time.
